About Aynsley

Aynsley Damery is a chartered accountant, multi-award-winning entrepreneur, and CEO and co-founder of Clarity HQ, a NextGen Advisory system operating across 17+ countries that helps accounting firms build scalable, methodology-driven advisory services. He is a fifth-generation small business owner who has co-authored an international bestseller.

Aynsley began his career as an assurance manager with KPMG in the Channel Islands before becoming a partner at Tayabali Tomlin, where he transformed a traditional regional firm into an award-winning advisory practice. In 2014, he founded Accounting for Entrepreneurs (AforE), which was named one of the World’s Most Inspiring Accountants, a global runner-up in Intuit’s Firm of the Future, Best Advisers to Small Businesses in the UK, and Most Innovative Accounting Firm in the UK for three consecutive years. He sold AforE to Crowe in 2018.

Through Clarity HQ, Aynsley and his co-founder Steven Briginshaw have developed a complete advisory methodology, including the CLEAR Advisory Map, the 7 Key Numbers, and the 5 Levers of Success, frameworks now used by hundreds of accounting firms worldwide. Their work has demonstrated that firms adopting NextGen Advisory produce a 3x profit uplift compared to those running traditional advisory models.

Aynsley is an international keynote speaker whose engagements include the ICAEW Annual Practice Conference, QuickBooks Connect (US and UK), Entrepreneurs Circle, and Richard Branson’s Necker Island. He regularly ranks in the top 10 of the UK’s most influential accounting professionals and sits as an advisory board member for a number of companies and charities.
